ENVIRONMENT:  Uvonair CD

Green plants can give off strong smells which may be objectionable to your family and even to your neighbours. As most growers use extractors to remove the warm stale air the best place to tackle the smell is right there in the duct. Uvonair just fits in between the extractor fan and the outside world. It has a fully adjustable output which allows the grower to start off with it turned up full. This will produce a strong Ozone smell outside. The control is then simply turned down until the smell neutral point is reached. The Uvonair CD is a high output Corona Discharge generator that produces more ozone than any others known at this time. It is adjustable to match the ozone demand load for odor control as well as provide energy conservation in low demand periods The CD generator does not require servicing. The problem is now solved. These units mount onto your ductwork in minutes. Ozone (O3) is one of the most powerful oxidizers available. O3 doesn't just mask odors like mere air fresheners, it neutralizes odors at the source, then harmlessly converts to CO2 and oxygen. Ozone eliminates odors caused by moulds, mildew and damp basements. It even tackles unpleasant odors from tobacco smoke, pets and cooking. In nature, ozone is generated as a byproduct of electrical current in the air and accounts for the wonderful fresh air scent after a lightning storm, and of course the ozone layer is created by the UV radiation of the sun. Commercially, ozone is produced in a similar fashion — ultraviolet light (UV) and corona discharge (CD). CD technology passes air over electrically charged metal plates and produces the highest concentrations of ozone. UV technology passes air over an ultraviolet bulb to achieve the same end at lower concentrations. The Uvonair CD-800 ozone generator will treat all odors being exhausted by an 8" (20cm) ventilation system under most circumstances. Intended for rooms up to 20,000 cu.ft. (600 m3). Installs into other size ducts with adapters. Set the adjustable output by monitoring the exhaustable output by monitoring the exhaust air for odors. The Uvonair CD-1000 ozone generator will treat all odors being exhausted by a 10" (25cm) ventilation system under most circumstances. The CD-1000-1 is intended for a room size of 20,000 cu.ft. (600 m3) while the CD-1000-2 is intended for a room size of 40, 000 cu.ft. (1200 m3). Installs into other size ducts with adapters. Set the adjustable output by monitoring the exhaustable output by monitoring the exhaust air for odors. The Uvonair CD-1200 ozone generator will treat all odors being exhausted by a 12" (30cm) ventilation system under most circumstances. Intended for rooms up to 100,000 cu.ft. (3000 m3).
