HYDRO SYSTEMS: Kweekketel
THE FAST
GROWER 224 PLANT VERTICAL GROW SYSTEM
THE BEST VALUE GROWING CHAMBER ON THE MARKET TODAY!

Extremely Quite,Conceal Light And Contain Annoying Smells
Various ketels on the market have been under the expectations of many growers,
as the ease of use/set-up/servicing and access to the systems have been
difficult without the use of step ladders or even worse having to climb into the
system to check lower growth.
This is where “The Fast Grower” comes into light; a new age in Ketel culture is
about to take over. With the consumer in mind, the makers PG Worldwide have
covered every aspect during designing and manufacturing of this unique Ketel
with quality, performance plus safety and the unique easy access and servicing
system.
The "Fast Grower" is in a class of its own, with the unique book style opening
system, for easy access to check/trim/service and crop, NO LIFTING ON & OFF
LIDS!
The “Fast Grower” is
also supplied on castors/wheels for easy placement within the chosen growing
area. The “Fast Grower” is supplied and delivered in 5 LOFT SIZE parts and can
take under 15 minutes to build and under 1 hour to have up and running.
Fast Grower Diameter 125 cm, Height 129cm (from the ground on wheels)
Once you have built the “Fast Grower”, fit the drip feed system and simply place
the fan on the centre funnel, then connect the filter to kill the odour. The fan
draws the hot air from the lamps, which in turn keeps the Fast Grower cool.
Fully enclosed, Odourless, near light tight and easy to set-up. Add your
cuttings, flick the switch and off you go. Allow two-seven days in the 18 hour
light cycle, which will allow the roots to gain hold, then switch to the 12 hour
light cycle for the duration. Each grow cycle takes 8 weeks from start to
finish!!!
The “Fast Grower” uses 2 rubber clamping closers at the front, and with the
entire unit on wheels enables for easy positioning.
On the top are 2 separate intake funnels which can be used to feed plants Co2,
connect a secondary fan unit or simply cover to prevent pests entering.
All 5 parts easily fit through loft hatches (The only ketel on the market to do
so!)
Extremely quite,no visiable light and no anoying smells.

The Fast Grower General Instructions
Please note all electrical work should be carried out buy a registered qualified
electrician and should not be attempted unless you have electrical knowledge. Ensure all electrical supplies are switched off at all times before attempting
any electrical work or maintenance.
INSERTING THE 24 ROCK WOOL SLABS:
1. Push and lift the rectangle flaps for the rock slabs to sit on (this allows
drainage) 2. Place 12 rock slabs in either side of the Fast Grower. First open the tops
and bottoms but DO NOT remove them from the plastic sleeves. Ensure the slabs
are placed into the machine straight and vertical by starting from both ends and
working towards the middle. The last slab will be a tight fit. 3. After fitting the slabs we suggest flooding and soaking them with plain or Ph
stable water until the water runs clear. This will clean the slabs and rid of
any unwanted matter and toxins.
FITTING THE FEED SYSTEM:
1.Following the curl of the large 16mm hose, feed the hose through the front
port and pull the hose around on top of the slabs to the end of the machine
(right side). 2.Then insert the black stop cap to the end of the hose to stop flow. 3.Then LIFT the hose gently; ensuring the hose is still touching the end of the
right hand side of the machine, drill a 2mm hole for every slab (12 to each
side) on the underneath of the hose ensuring the hole is lined up with the
centre of each slab. 4. Insert one nipple in each of the holes drilled. 5. Then attach a small piece of the 4mm black hose. 6. And finally attach the tap. You can add another piece of the 4mm hose to the
tap but this is optional. 7. If you intend using the base as your feed tank then join the 2 drainage
outlets situated on the back with hose to turn the base into one large
reservoir. Then place the pump into the right hand base and feed the 16mm main
feed hose down through the right hand top port hole situated on the lid, by
doing this will enable the machine to be open and closed without fuss. Please
note if you intend using this method then you will need to clean the base's
regularly to stop algae build up. 8. If you intend using a separate nutrient feed tank (water butt) then you will
require a secondary pump and hose (not supplied) to recalculate the feed back to
the main nutrient tank from the machine.
GROWING IN SOIL:
If you do not wish to use the drip feed system and the 224-plant sites, then you
can simply fill the base with soil and grow. You will need to suspend your
lighting horizontally to do so. You can also place grow bags/pots into the base and again you will need to hang
the lighting horizontally to be efficient.
CONNECTING LIGHTING TUBES TOGETHER:
1. Connect the wiring (supplied) to the lighting tubes only (do not attach to
ballasts at this stage). 2. To join the Lighting tubes together, simply use the 2 bolts & nuts supplied.
They should be joined so that one lamp is facing upwards and the other
downwards. 3. You will notice on the tubes, that there is round steel rings either end with
washers; these are for hanging the lights horizontally. You will need to remove
the bottom ring and washers and then screw then back on in the spare hole
located at the electrical end of the tube. You will need to do the same
procedure for the second tube. 4.Then, bend out all four (4) rings horizontally and place through the supplied
bolts and then do up the nuts tight so that the tubes pull together.
CONNECTING THE LIGHTING TO THE FAST GROWER:
1. To hang the lighting use the supplied bracket and bolt. 2. Hold the lighting up so that the wiring is facing towards the front. 3. Mark and Drill 2 holes through either side to the top of lighting tube, just
big enough for the bolt to go through. 4. Hang the supplied bracket from the lid (side with the largest funnel). 5. Then hold up the lighting tubes so that the bracket is positioned into the
top and insert the bolt through the holes in the lighting tubes, and through the
bracket. 6. Then screw on the 2 supplied nuts to hold in place. 7. Then Feed the wiring from the lighting tubes through the 2 small front holes
positioned on the front of the Fast Grower and attach to your ballasts.
FINAL CONNECTIONS:
1.Once your electrical supply is connected you can the place your fan on the
centre large funnel. Ensure the fan is extracting from the system and not
blowing. The fan has an arrow marked upon it and should be facing towards the
ceiling. 2. Then connect a length of ducting (supplied) from the fan to the supplied
filter using the steel clips.
PLANT FEEDING SCHEDULE:
Set your timer to feed 4-5 times a day for 15 minutes whilst the lighting is on. Preferably, set the first feed just after lights on and the last feed 30-60
minutes before the lights go off. You’re E.C level (nutrient strength) should be between 1.2-1.6 in the cutting
stage and should be increased during the growing period as with normal growing
techniques.
