Overview

Nutrients are the sole source of nutrition for your plants. In general there are two types of nutrients available to the Hydroponic grower. A 'Grow' mix and a 'Bloom' mix. These mixes are sometimes available in 'hard' and 'soft' water formulas. Hard water is tap water with a pH of 8 and above. Soft water is tap water with a pH of below 8.

The Grow is used for plants in vegetative growth. 

The Bloom is used for plants flowering and fruiting.
