ENVIRONMENT
Overview
Plant temperature up to about 85 f is very
comfortable for most of your favourite plants, higher than this will
affect photosynthesis, CO2 uptake, plant transpiration, and internal
temperature. Plant growth then progressively slows down or even stops.
Using extractor fans allows you to control
the temperature inside your growroom and keep your plants supplied with
CO2. In an enclosed environment your plants will quickly use up all
available CO2 which will lead to slowing of growth. An extractor fan is
used to bring fresh air in from outside the grow room and another
extractor fan is used to extract the old stale air. It might be possible
to use just one extractor fan placed high in the growroom with fresh air
being pulled in naturally through windows, doorways, etc.
